IAAF CECS LEVEL III JUMPS

RDC Jakarta director Ria Loemintuarso officially opened the course while course director Mouchbahani gave an overview of the course.

            The course was conducted both in classroom for theoretical session and on the field for practical coaching session. Participants used Indonesian young athletes for their practical coaching session.

            Among materials being discussed during the course includedTraining Theory, Technical Model on Jumps Event, Typical Faults on Jumps Event, Drills and Exercises on Jumps Event, Advanced Teaching Progression on Jumps Event, Teaching and Coaching on Jumps Event, Planning a session, dan Planning a Training Year.

            Both course resource persons managed to make a lively class with all participants were very active during the course especially during the discussion on training session program planning.

            The resource persons used four types of assessment to evaluate the participants of Teaching and Coaching, Written Exam, Session Planning Exam, and Oral Exam.

            The course was closed by the Indonesian Athletics Federation vice president Chaidir while the resources persons presented the certificates.
