It gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the International Amateur Athletic Federation, to write this brief message on the occasion of the launch of the new web site of RDC Jakarta.

Our own experiences with the IAAF web-site since 1996 have proven that the Internet can be a superb promotional and educational tool. Through this means, I am confident that RDC Jakarta will be able to enhance its service to relevant member federations, but also to inform the wider world of the excellent work that is being done at this RDC which is a crucial tool of the IAAF Development Programme.
