IAAF TRAINING CAMP FOR SPRINT,
The IAAF Regional Development Centre Jakarta organized an IAAF Training Camp for Sprint on March 16-25, 2008 in Yogyakarta
led by Nik Hagicostas. There were 11 countries that sent representatives of 12 coaches and 17 athletes. Bangladesh,
Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand each sent one coach and
an athlete each while host Indonesia sent two coaches and five athletes..

IAAF CECS LEVEL IV COURSE FOR JUMPS,
The IAAF Regional Development Centre Jakarta hosted a Coaches Education and Certification System (CECS) level IV course
for jumps from April 4-7, 2008 in Yogyakarta. The course was given by lecturers Fletcher McEwen of Australia and Kevin
Ankrom of New Zealand. There were nine participants from Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka
each sending one participant, while the Philippines were represented by three coaches..
